Her fik ligesindede fra medicinalindustrien mulighed for at netværke i uformelle rammer, og skabe nye kontakter blandt ledere og beslutningstagere fra andre Pharma-, MedTech- og BioTechvirksomheder samt Health Care institutioner i Danmark.

TEMA FOR NYTÅRSKUREN: DEN FIREDOBBELTE BUNDLINJE
Som virksomheder, er vi afhængige af, at der generelt hersker fred, frihed og demokrati i verden. Hver gang disse tre variable trues, skabes der voldsomme ubalancer i udbud og efterspørgsel, og samfunds- og markedsøkonomier sættes helt eller delvis ud af spil. Når autoritære regimer benytter sig af økonomisk tvang (economic coercion) mod demokratier, såsom f.eks. Ruslands brug af naturressourcer som våben til at presse og destabilisere demokratier i verden, trues vore virksomheders grundlæggende evne til at forblive bæredygtige.
​
Hos Albright har vi derfor tilført den allerede kendte tredobbelte bundlinje (Profit, Planet & People) endnu en bundlinje – nemlig den fjerde bundlinje: #PEACE.
​
Med krigen i Ukraine stod det for os mere klart end nogensinde at #FRED & #FRIHED ikke bør tages for givet. Vi fortalte lidt om vores arbejde med den firedobbelte bundlinje og hvordan den bidrager til at styrke vores samlede bundlinje og bæredygtighed.
Derudover fik vi besøg af Samuel Rachlin. Samuel var i mange år ansat i Danmarks Radio og var stationens første Moskva-korrespondent, der åbnede Rusland for de fleste danske seere og lyttere. Siden var han ansat på TV2 og var stationens første nyhedsvært. Samuel fortalte bl.al om Putin og om demokratiernes skrøbelighed og den presente trussel mod frihed og demokrati - herunder krigen i Ukraine.

Hos Albright er vi meget berørte af situationen i Ukraine. Vinteren er kommet til Ukraine og det handler for mange Ukrainere nu om overlevelse. Temperaturerne falder drastisk – nogle steder helt ned til minus 20 grader. Mange børn, der i forvejen dagligt vågner op til en virkelighed fyldt med luftangreb, eksplosioner, bekymringer og frygt, skal nu også kæmpe for at holde sig varme.
Derfor besluttede vi at dette års executive event og nytårskur også var et støttearrangement til fordel for Børn i Ukraine.
Vores tanker går til alle de familier og børn, der rammes af denne krig, og vi håber gennem vores støttearrangement og sideløbende landsindsamling i samarbejde med Red Barnet at bidrage til mere end 100 familier i Ukraine.

This event will focus on how a possible recession will influence the Life Sciences industry and framework conditions while addressing ways on how to combat the effects.
We will address the following two key questions:

Using the Albright Life Science Report as foundation, three seperate executive roundtable events were created to bring Life Science executives together with the purpose of knowledge sharing and networking.
​
With more than 100 Danish Life Science Executives sharing their thoughts, insights and evaluations on industry trends, growth prospects , there were several highlights to facilitate plenty of discussion.
Here are a few key highlights:

83% of executives from the Life Science industry in Denmark are either ”confident” or ”very confident” about their organisation’s prospects for revenue growth over the next three years BUT…

Where executives from Pharma/Biopharma/Biotech expects that the primary drivers of growth will be (1) Strategic alliances & partners (73%) and (2) Advanced analytics (62%), then the primary growth driver identified by executives from the Medtech/IVD industry is Digitization of products and/or services (83%).

EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAMS IN LIFE SCIENCES - A HEADHUNTER PERSPECTIVE

The ability to set, drive and develop effective leadership teams is directly correlated with the performance of a company and its organization.
At Albright A/S and over the past decade, we have studied organizational and leadership dynamics across the Life Science industry. Terms of notice, clauses and severance pay are all key elements within a director contract. Companies have an increasing tendency to protect themselves by including more clauses and slightly longer terms of notice.
The first part of the event focused on giving senior executives insights and tools to navigate current and future contracts.

Almost 40% of all senior executives will fail in their next leadership role. Executive on boarding is designed to accelerate the transition of executives into their new roles and to improve the foundation for their short-, medium- and long-term success. The second part of the event focused on helping senior executives dodge potential obstacles when taking on a new role.
