Our client is a Global MedTech company headquartered in Greater Copenhagen with a strong track record in developing state-of-the-art products addressing unmet needs in the market.
THE POSITION
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Therapy Area, the position will be responsible for the continued development of a growing portfolio of either GI or Urology products at our client.
The role will be instrumental in planning, developing and executing the business and product strategies and roadmaps for a designated portfolio within Gastroenterology or Urology, including among others driving the strategic positioning, value proposition(s), market access, commercial etc. Moreover, the role will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of global business strategies for the designated portfolio while managing associated portfolio planning, investment and development activity to meet requirements of the markets globally.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Responsible for a designated portfolio of GI or Urology products, including driving its commercial strategies and vision, while spearheading product development, roadmap development, go-to market strategies, positioning, value propositions, launch planning and life cycle management activities.

Ensuring optimal segmentation and targeting.

Conducting market analysis and providing marketing insights and direction for new products.

Creating value proposition, positioning statement and key sales messages for current and future products.

Driving roadmaps for the designated products.

Ensuring optimal market development and penetration across the product portfolio.

Tracking and evaluating product performance and sales results post-launch.

Delivering effective product training strategies and execution to the frontline sales organization.

Creating and managing KOL relationships.
Key success criteria:

Ensuring continuous development and growth of the designated GI or Urology product portfolio.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Educational background:
Relevant education – preferably at Master level.
Language:
English – fluent verbally and in writing.
Ideal experience and competencies:
-
+3 years relevant work experience from a similar position.
-
Experience in leading large complex projects in a global/regional organization.

Experience in driving product portfolio strategies.
-
In depth experience within Gastro or Urology.
-
Experience with capital equipment/hospital sales products.
-
Proven track-record with global/regional product launches is an advantage.

Preferably upstream and downstream experience.

Strong product management toolbox.
-
Strong understanding of the healthcare sector.
-
Strong commercial acumen and broad experience from working in a global/HQ or regional/HQ setting.
