NORDIC PRICING & REIMBURSEMENT MANAGER

THE POSITION
The position will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing and tender analysis, strategies and agreements to facilitate access of the ourclient's products into the Nordic markets – hereunder, monitoring market opportunities with regard to country specific healthcare environments, pricing and reimbursement policies, risk analysis and adequate solutions. This also includes responsibility for developing and implementing health economic processes and reimbursement strategies while contributing to ensuring reimbursement applications/re-applications are duly submitted for new products and existing products.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Responsible for developing and implementing pricing and tender strategies.

Monitoring potential tenders and market opportunities.
-
Identifying and developing relationships with key stakeholders, especially the influential groups in order to best support the business.

Monitoring the country environment for healthcare, pricing and reimbursement policies, hereunder analyzing risks and opportunities and proposing adequate solutions.

Developing and implementing health economic processes

for new products and for the adaptation of existing ones.

Implementing reimbursement strategies for all products.
-
Participating in defining the regional commercial strategy.
-
Staying abreast on information regarding pricing and reimbursement issues and trends within the local markets, hereunder defining ways to influence players and other decision makers.

Complying with country regulations, company policies and procedures in every interaction.

Collaborating closely with Medical Affairs concerning possible involvement and support by KOL’s.

Successful development and implementation of pricing and tender strategies and agreements.

Successful development and implementation of reimbursement strategies that amount to successful reimbursement applications/re-applications – across the Nordic region.

Ensuring seamless and successful cooperation with key stakeholders – both internal and external stakeholders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Educational background:
Preferably degree at B.Sc. or M.Sc.-level in Economics, Business, Health Sciences or similar.
Language:
One of the Scandinavian languages & English - fluent (verbally and written).
Ideal experience and competencies:

Solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry and with the hospital environment.

In-depth experience within pharmaco-economic analysis.

In-depth knowledge of the regional market access processes within the Nordic region.
-
In-depth knowledge of tender processes.
-
Knowledge of main pharmaceutical systems, including pricing, reimbursement, regulatory and health care.

Strong project management skills and experience with running projects independently from start to finish.

Well-versed in excel and able to navigate smoothly across multi-layer data levels (e.g. market- and financial data etc.).
