As Associate Partner you are motivated by a full value chain responsibility. You preferably carry a successful track record as a Consultant from an Executive Search firm and you are well-versed in working with Life Sciences clients. Moreover, your clients broadly acknowledge and respect you for being a “value creator” and trusted advisor.
Your primary focus will be to build and expand your own portfolio of global and local clients. Some assignments you will run individually (end-to-end) other assignments you will team up with a Research Consultant while being responsible for the entire executive search process – from initial client contact to final delivery. This includes in-depth analysis, definition of search strategy, candidate- and source identification, interviewing, assessment and onboarding.
Associate Partner, Life Sciences
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Becoming a Life Sciences Executive Search Expert.
Building strong, lasting relationships with Life Sciences clients and candidates.
Identifying, attracting and assessing first-rate talent.
Developing and executing a new business development strategy of retained search business.
Leading the delivery of a comprehensive, high quality end-to-end executive search process.
Leading a team of 1-2 Research Associates on some assignments; on other assignments taking on full end-to-end responsibilities.
Developing & implementing a structured assessment and search based methodology including market mapping, timescales, deliverables and associated reporting.
Developing and retaining relationships with new clients, handling negotiations - including preferred supplier agreements.
Playing a key part in preparing and writing proposals and pitch documents.
Developing expert knowledge of clients’ businesses.
Key success criteria:
Building a reputation within the market as a credible, knowledgeable, professional and successful Life Sciences Executive Search Consultant.

Delivering on candidate satisfaction KPI’s
Relevant education – ideally at B.Sc. level or higher.
English – fluent (verbally and written)
Ideal experience and competencies:
3+ years experience from the Executive Search industry.
Experience with executive search/recruitment to the Life Sciences industry.
Documented track record in delivering top quality search/assessment assignments with high stick rates.
Possesses superior networking skills.
Superior understanding and ability to interpret clients demands.
Pro-active and creative approach to identifying talent and effectively presenting candidates to an appropriate audience.
